Under the blessed guidance of Khilāfat-e-Ahmadiyya, Majlis Anşārullāh Canada is working on various initiatives across the country. One of such initiatives was the

inter-regional Quiz competition structured and organized by Qiādat Ta‘līm on November 25th & 26th, 2023. The purpose of this activity was to propagate and inculcate the Islamic knowledge among the members of Majlis Anşārullāh.

The initial Pre qualifier online written test was held on 29th April, 2023 .

Later, the top two position holders from each of 14 regions along with one additional team from Halton Niagara region were invited to the MTA studios in Aiwan-e-Tāhir, Peace Village for qualifying, semifinals and final rounds.

Opening session was started with the recitation from the Holy Quran by Mirza Waqas Ahmed Sahib, Additional Qaid Talim after that all 30 participants from all across Canada introduced themselves with Respected Abdul Hameed Warriach Sahib, Sadr Majlis Anşārullāh . Respected Sadr Sahib Majlis in his opening remarks highlighted the importance and basic purpose behind such Quiz competitions. Later Khalid Mahmood Sharma Sahib, Qaid Talim Majlis Anşārullāh Canada, read out all the related rules and regulations of the contest and finally Respected Lal Khan Malik Sahib, National Amir Jama’at Canada led the audience in silent prayers after that contest was started.

The highlights of this quiz contest are as under:

• Syllabus of the contest consisted of a Part 6 of Holy Qur’ān, Hadith Nabwi (sa), writings of the Promised Messiah (as) and sermons of Hazrat Khalīfatul Masīh V (aa).
• Each regional team consisted of 2 members. Teams from all 14 regions and one Hamilton Niagara team participated in the qualifying rounds.4 best regions from five pools with highest scores qualified for two semifinals.
• All qualifying rounds, semi-finals and final sessions were recorded by MTA International Canada and Insha`Allah will be aired on MTA sometime in the future.

Prizes and Winner:

• 1st Position – Return ticket to the UK Jalsa Sālāna 2024 for each team member: Hamilton Niagara team (Abdul Majid Warraich Sahib & Dr. Wadood Ahmad Shaikh Sahib)

• 2nd Position – Ahmadiyya Book Store vouchers of $250 for each team member: Brampton East Region (Abdul Aziz Mangla Sahib & Waseem Ahmad Khan Sahib)

• 3rd Position – Ahmadiyya Book Store vouchers of $100 for each team member: Toronto Region (Mahmood Ahmad sahib & Muhammad Shafiq sahib)

By the Grace of Allah, this event proved to be a great success. Alhamdulillah.
